The of animals as a moral dilemma
The use of animals by humans poses many problems. First of all, contemporary industrial exploitation of animals causes enormous suffering of animals, but also of humans, and great ecological damage. Even though I refuse certain forms of animal use, I do not reject any use of animals. But when we use them, it has to be done in highest respect and in an environment that comes up to the animals’ nature.
The adjacent text comprises some thoughts, neither concluding nor complete, on this difficult subject that partly constitutes a moral dilemma for me.
